SKLAMANIE V KNM = 16. miesto
Jesenná bilancia MŠK KNM v III.lige neskončila podľa očakávania predsezónnych predstav vedenia klubu. Podľa podmienok v klube a poznania podmienok iných klubov hrajúcich III.ligu predpokladalo vedenie klubu po jeseni umiestnenie v prvej polovici tabuľky III.ligy.
Aj, keď treba objektívne priznať, že na začiatku letnej prípravy boli problémy so stabilizáciou kádra po značnom pohybe, keď odišli: Holeščák, Tabak, Pučala, Mahút, Martini, Paulus, Macek, Ondrušek, Kuťka, Janščo Pe. a Pa., v priebehu prvých zápasov sa zranil Goljan.
Prišli: Hvostík - brankár, Klago, Vlček Radoslav, Chovanec, Pavlík, Sidora, Žubor, Pavlus Peter, Mojík, Horvát, Timek. Z dorastu: Kelko,Janiš, Janec, Boris, Šalga.
Novým trénerom sa stal bývalý dlhoročný hráč KNM Július Schmidt, od ktorého sa očakávalo, že pritiahne z okolia ostatných /či už hráčov ale aj fanúšikov/, že skĺbi a dá dohromady dobrý kolektív. Začiatok súťaže tomu aj nasvedčoval, keď v prvom kole doma porazili Fiľakovo 3:1.No v druhom domácom zápase s D.Ždaňou nastal skrat v podobe vysokej prehry 0:4 /a ako sa neskôr ukázalo mužstvo nemalo dostatok psychických síl, keď inkasovalo prvý gól nevedelo sa „pozbierať" a zabojovať o zvrátenie stavu a poväčšine z toho boli kruté výsledky v podobe vysokých prehier/. Zaujímavosťou je bilancia s D.Ždaňou, keď v po sebe treťom ročníku s piatich zápasov MŠK nedokázalo dať gól D.Ždani a nezískalo ani jeden bod.V nasledujúcich šiestich zápasoch po sebe to boli samé prehry s vysokým počtom inkasovaných gólov /19/ a iba jedným vstreleným gólom pri prehre v N.Bani 8:1. L.Štiavnica - KNM 2:0, KNM - V. Krtiš 0:3, KNM - Bytča 0:1, L.Lúčka - KNM 1:0, Valča - KNM 4:0. Je zaujímavosťou, že v každom zápase mali hráči MŠK veľa gólových príležitosti, viac z hry, no v konečnom dôsledku pykali za zahodené gólové príležitosti a za školácke až naivné chyby v defenzíve. Dôkazom toho boli domáce prehry s V.Krtišom a Bytčou a hlavne tzv. šesťbodový zápas v L.Lúčke, keď s množstva gólových príležitosti nedali a keď mohla byť remíza inkasovali tzv. netaktický gól a bola z toho ďalšia nula v kolónke bodov. Nezvládli zápas ani vo Valči, keď posadili domácich na „koňa" už v 8 min zápasu, keď sa dalo s výsledkom niečo robiť prišli obligátne chyby a bol z toho výsledok 4:0. Prišiel domáci zápas s Makovom, ktorý zvládli po všetkých stránkach a víťazstvo 2:0 sa zdalo , že kríza pominula no opak bol pravdou... Dobrý výkon podali aj v Kremničke, no naivnými chybami sa pripravili minimálne o bod a prehrali 2:1. Zápas jesene bol proti Krásnu. Do 55 minúty bolo všetko v najlepšom poriadku vedenie 1:0 a trápenie hosti na ťažkom teréne tomu nasvedčovalo, no prišla už klasická „tvrdka" v obrane, vyrovnanie na 1:1 a bol z toho nervák s vyvrcholením druhého gólu a prehra 1:2 znamenala odsunutie na posledné miesto v tabuľke.Zápas v Králikoch bol z pohľadu herného pomerne slušný no bez gólov z našej strany a bez bodového efektu s výsledkom 2:0. V ostatných zápasoch jesene doma s Rakytovcami 0:3, Zvolenom 0:1 a v Námestove 3:1, to bola rezignácia všetkých /vzdal sa tréner Schmidt/ dokonca bez udania dôvodov sa nedostavili na posledný zápas do Námestova ani niektorí hráči /Timek, Kohút, Pavlus, Grznár/. V tomto zápase hrali traja dorastenci a nebyť naivity /žiaľ skúsených hráčov/ mohol byť výsledok aj iný ...
Klub čaká dlhá zimná prestávka v ktorej bude potrebné skonsolidovať rady a pokúsiť sa o záchranu v súťaži, veď strata na 13. miesto v tabuľke sú 4 body čo nieje nereálne dobehnúť. Ukázalo sa, že v klube tak bohatom na historické úspechy vo futbale musí pracovať tréner s vyšším kreditom, ktorý dokáže dotiahnuť do diania viac hráčov ochotných pracovať tak pre seba ako aj klub. Dôkazom toho je minuloročné umiestnenie v tabuľke po jesení s 23 bodmi na 4.mieste, keď trénerom MŠK bol Goffa.

Menej gólov vstrelili už len Krásno a L.Lúčka po 10. no inkasovali 23 a 25 gólov
