Veľkú nádej som vkladal do príchodu nového brankára - Martina Gajdoša. Od tohto okamihu naozaj začala nová éra, keď podržal kolektív pri bravúrnych zákrokoch. Aj obrana, na čele so Samom Hudecom, sa konečne začala formovať. V strede poľa sme skúšali viacerých hráčov, nakoniec sme našli kompromis. V útoku obranu súpera najviac zamestnávala posila z prípravky Dávid Kopásek. Kým v jesennej časti sme často využívali 3-4 hráčov z roč. 1998, tak v jarnej časti sme to robili už len sporadicky. Do kolektívu pribudli úplne noví hráči, takže najmä domáce zápasy sme mali plne obsadenú aj lavičku. I keď začiatky boli ťažké...dnes už necúvame, nestojíme, ideme krok za krokom vpred vo futbalovom napredovaní. Samozrejme, ťažko sa konkuruje športovým školám, mužstvám s umelou trávou, čo je badateľné najmä počas zimnej prípravy, keď zima je v našich končinách nekonečne dlhá. Veľa toho napovie najmä veta: „ Kým mi robíme nábor, iní robia výber.“ Našťastie, stále chlapcov učíme hrať futbal a zdokonaľovať sa v herných činnostiach jednotlivca, keďže v tejto súťaži sa nehrá na body.
Za MŠK KNM I. liga ml. žiakov roč.1999 nastúpili: M.Gajdoš, M.Madigár, S.Brisuda, D.Kopásek, M.Vojtuš, E.Tuček, S.Vlček, S.Hudec, M.Handlovský, M.Michalec, M.Škorík, T.Ovečka, M.Ťažký, O.Záhradník, M.Dubeň, M.Amzalag, N.Tóth, (niekedy F.Puraš, M.Vojtáš, A.Gajdoš. A.Mrenková).
Dúfam, že nájdeme podporu v rodičovskej verejnosti a začne sa kontrolovaný pohyb detí najmä pod dohľadom skúseným trénerov. Namiesto počítačových hier-tréning, namiesto potulovania –šport. Zdravie, pohyb, disciplína, osobný rast, kolektív, podpora mesta...MŠK.
