Víťazstvá bežcov v Žiline a Krásne nad Kysucou
Bežci MKŠS – AK Kysucké Nové Mesto sa zúčastnili v posledných týždňoch viacerých podujatí. Patrik Žúbor (SOŠs Kysucké Nové Mesto) dobehol na školských majstrovstvách Slovenska v cezpoľnom behu v Starej Ľubovni na 2. mieste, keď ho o 3 sekundy porazil o 3 roky starší juniorský majster Slovenska na 1500 m Peter Ďurec (Banská Bystrica).
Patrik by mal na jar štartovať na školských majstrovstvách sveta v cezpoľnom behu na Malte. Ďalší pretekári sa zúčastnili tradičného Behu 17. novembra v Žiline. Naši mladí bežci úplne ovládli žiacke kategórie a dosiahli 4 víťazstvá. Medzi mladšími žiačkami zvíťazila Nikola Štefundová, na 2. mieste dobehla Soňa Kohútová, štvrtú priečku obsadila Martina Jarošová. V kategórii mladší žiaci suverénne zvíťazil Michal Kučera. Prvé miesto medzi staršími žiačkami neuniklo Michaele Jarošovej, v kategórii starších žiakov zvíťazil Lukáš Prívara. V behu dorastencov dobehol Ján Klučiarik tretí. Úspech našich bežcov zvýraznil Miroslav Neslušan víťazstvom medzi mužmi nad 40 rokov, tretie miesto obsadil Anton Kuba. V nedeľu 13. novembra sa v Krásne nad Kysucou bežal 28. ročník cestného behu Krasňanská desiatka. Na podujatí štartoval po vyše štvormesačnej prestávke zavinenej zranením aj Juraj Vitko, reprezentant Slovenska a tohtoročný držiteľ najrýchlejšieho slovenského výkonu na 3000 m. Juraj bežal väčšiu časť pretekov bok po boku s L. Hýlom (Lučenec). V poslednej štvrtine trate zrýchlil a zvíťazil v čase 32:55 s vyše polminútovým náskokom pred Hýlom. V hlavnej kategórii štartoval aj dorastenec Patrik Žúbor, ktorý kvalitným časom 35:01 obsadil 4. miesto. V kategórii ženy nad 35 rokov zvíťazila Alena Pochybová. Miroslav Neslušan medzi mužmi nad 40 rokov dobehol tretí. Mgr. Milan Slivka
